Katie is continuing to show improvement! She has been able to eat a little bit & use the potty, and has even gone on an 'outing' down the halls in one of the hospital's little wagons. Everyone seems to be hanging in there pretty well, although I imagine they are exhausted from the rollercoaster of emotions that have soared back & forth between panic & relief,.. that and lack of good, replenishing sleep. Hard to rest well when you are constantly alerting to every little sound or movement, but that is all to be expected. It sounds like she will for sure be staying in the hospital until at least tomorrow, but may get to go home real soon after if she continues to improve the way she is.
