Well, since I've already written practically a novel on our trip to Chicago,.. I will keep this post short & sweet!
Today, is mine & Scott's 16th wedding anniversary!! 16 Years!
I'd say that in today's day & age,.. with a large amount of people either electing not to get married altogether or succumbing to the nauseatingly high divorce rate, that this is quite an accomplishment. And Lord knows, we've teetered on the edge a number of times ourselves, but we've made it this far!

- I'm a strong woman with a creative personality, a big {& sensitive} heart, and an old soul. I am fond of sitting still, being quiet, and taking in the blessings that surround me. I find it's a good way to wash away the negatives, and regroup. Being a parent is one of the most challenging & demanding yet rewarding & satisfying experiences, and my children are absolutely, without a doubt, what keep me going. I homeschool all of them. Homeschooling is not an easy task, but it is so worth it. If I could only use two words to describe what it takes it would be: PATIENCE & DEDICATION. I'm a Christian, and my faith in God is unwaivering. I am truly humbled by His grace. I have a huge heart, and am usually an optimist even when there's no reason to be. That's what big faith will get you! Life is full of all sorts of twists & turns, no path is completely clear of stones,.. you're going to stumble from time to time. The best thing I could say to sum it all up would be that, "With God, ALL things ARE possible!" That's me in a nutshell,.... All that glitters is NOT always gold, but it's me. It's who I am.
